WEEE Information

What is WEEE?

WEEE stands for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment — anything with a plug, battery, or power cord.
These items must be recycled and should never be put in household bins.

Why Recycle?

Recycling your old electrical items helps to:
  • Reduce waste going to landfill
  •  valuable materials like metal, plastic, and glass
  • Protect the environment
  • Support WEEE Ireland’s Battery Programme, which raises money for LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice
