1. What type of fuel do I use in my lawnmower?

Use fresh, clean unleaded petrol from an approved container.

2. What type of oil should I use in my lawnmower?

Prior to initial start, please fill engine with oil. Starting the engine without oil will cause serious damage to the engine.

We recommend 500 - 600ml of SAE30 Lawnmower Oil. Please refer to operator's manual for further information.

3. How do I drain the oil?

The oil may be emptied through a drainage system located under the deck.

Please refer to the engine manual for full instructions.

OR

Drain the oil through an oil fill tube when oil is warm by tipping the mower backwards or sideways depending on the position of the spark plug.

Caution

Before tipping the mower, drain all the fuel from fuel tank. Always tilt the mower so that the spark plug is pointing up. Do no touch the engine muffler, as it could be hot.

4. What are the advantages of an Aluminium deck lawnmower over a Steel deck?

They have a greater resistance to rust, particularly if the mower is stored out in the wet or if you are located near coastlines.

5. My mower does not cut grass cleanly?

Check and adjust engine belt, check blades are not bent up, twisted or worn, blades have not been fitted upside down, and check for wear in blade pulley's and blade belt tension

6. What type of battery is used on my ride-on mower?

12 Volt Battery

7. How do I choose the correct chainsaw for my needs?

Guide for buying the correct chainsaw :

• Consider what the saw will be needed for and what size is required.
• Check the safety features and vibration levels.
• Consider how long you will be using the saw for at a time.
• Consider the noise levels.
• Consider safety clothing that may be required for the task.
• Look into the power available. Seek advice on control levels.

8. When should I service my machinery?

To keep your machinery in peak condition and prevent corrosion and other problems caused by winter storage, get your machine serviced at the end of each year.

9. What is the reason for my hedgetrimmer to be cutting unevenly?

The blades may be blunt or loose.

10. How long is my warranty?

Warranty starts from date of sale – Proof of purchase (i.e. receipt) is required in order to process a warranty claim.

11. Where can I find my serial number?

All serial numbers are located on a metal plate

Lawnmowers – Located on the deck behind the engine or at the side of the deck

13. Why won't my Mini 150 switch hold in?

This could be related to two things: - Incorrect lead length or incorrect volt supply.

230v Mini 150 – Your lead length should be no more than 30 Meters long and 2.5 mm wire size.

110v Mini 150 – Your lead length should be no more than 30 Meters long and 2.5 mm wire size with a transformer size of 2.2 KVA or more.

Warning: - DO NOT use an extension cable between the transformer and the mains power supply

14. Why will my Honda (GX120) Mini 150 not start?

Your Honda Mixer may not start due to the oil level in your engine, check your engines oil level in accordance with the below.
